Website screenshots.
The view you need.
Use the free extension to capture the page you are viewing. For screenshots generated from website URLs, Pro and Team include the web app and screenshot API.
Free browser capture or paid URL rendering?
Extension captures use the pixels in your browser and are free to edit and download locally. Device emulation, custom dimensions, CSS-selector sections and scroll-offset rendering from a public URL are paid server features. They use the Pro or Team monthly render allowance.
Choose the view that explains it
Capture a public URL as a visible viewport, full page, CSS section or vertical offset. Desktop, tablet, mobile and custom viewport sizes help you inspect a layout at different dimensions. Device presets emulate a browser viewport; they are not a real-device testing service. Captures use the website’s default appearance.
Annotate before you share
Open or paste an image and add arrows, rectangles, drawing, text or highlights. Crop to the relevant area. Use solid redaction for confidential details; blur or pixelation is a visual effect and should not be relied on to protect sensitive text. Local editing and downloading work without a cloud account.
Keep reviews beside the capture
Sign in with a verified account to save media privately in your workspace. Choose a public or anyone-with-link view, or restrict a capture to invited email addresses. Reviewers can leave pinned comments and resolve a point. Workspace creators share the library, so choose your collaborators with care.
For QA, agencies and support
Show a layout issue at the viewport where it appears, point a client to a precise design detail, or give a support answer someone can follow. Server captures spend the workspace’s website-render allowance; local editing and extension captures do not. Browser restrictions, page size and dynamically changing content can affect results.

Frequently asked questions
Can I capture a website without installing an extension?
Yes. The web app can render a public URL. Native screen capture also uses your browser’s screen picker where supported. Extension preview packages are separate and have not been published in browser stores.
Can I capture a signed-in page?
The public-URL renderer does not use your personal browser session. Capture an authorized signed-in page using a supported local screen picker or the extension preview, then redact confidential information before sharing.
